About Us

Government Polytechnic Jashpur was established in 2010 with the Central Financial Assistance to State Governments for setting up of new polytechnics in unserved & underserved districts under the scheme of sub-mission on polytechnics under coordinated action for skill development.

The institute commenced its journey from the premises of RBR NES College Jashpur and then shifted to its permanent campus in 2019. The institute is located on NH 78 at village Jhargaon and is about 8 KM from Jashpur.
